Maintenance Technician
The Brunswick Housing Authority is seeking capable Maintenance Technicians to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform semi-skilled and skilled maintenance of buildings, facilities, and light equipment. Duties include performing general carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and other repairs in response to service requests and results of inspections of units in accordance with Uniform Physical Conditions Standards (UPCS)or other HUD required standards; and performing maintenance on mechanical equipment or machinery.
Jobs Plus Case Manager
The Brunswick Housing Authority (BHA) is accepting applications for the position of Jobs Plus Grant Case Manager. Under direct supervision of the Jobs Plus Program Manager, this position provides service coordination, client outreach and assessment, case management coordination, resource development, employment programming and resident referrals. Associate's degree in in social services, human services, sociology or related field supplemented by a minimum of one (1) year previous experience in coordinating with community agencies and family case management. Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver's license. This is a grant funded position with an entry rate of $19.23 per hour. The successful candidate is not eligible for benefits. Jobs Plus Admin Assistant
The Brunswick Housing Authority is accepting applications for the position of Jobs Plus Administrative Assistant. The Jobs Plus Administrative Assistant serves a dual role within the organization, directly reporting to the Jobs Plus Program Manager and supporting off-site Case Managers by maintaining their calendars and schedules. This position plays an essential part in the smooth operation and data integrity of the Jobs Plus program. The Administrative Assistant may be asked to assist with other tasks and projects within the organization as needed.
Director of Finance
The Brunswick Housing Authority is accepting applications for the position of Director of Finance. The Director of Finance serves as a key member of the leadership team, overseeing all financial operations of the organization. This position is responsible for budgeting, financial reporting, audits, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. The Director of Finance works closely with the Executive Director and department heads to provide strategic financial guidance and support the Authority's mission. The Director may also be asked to assist with other organizational projects as needed.
Director of Housing
The Brunswick Housing Authority is accepting applications for the position of Director of Housing. The Director of Housing serves as a senior leader within the organization, reporting directly to the Executive Director. This position is responsible for overseeing the management of the agency's Public Housing and Housing Choice Voucher programs while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
The Director of Housing also provides leadership and guidance to department staff, supports property and program operations, and helps ensure BHA continues to provide quality, affordable housing opportunities to the Brunswick and Glynn County community. The Director may also be asked to assist with other projects and initiatives within the organization as needed.
Accountant
The Brunswick Housing Authority is accepting applications for the position of Accountant. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Accountant is responsible for performing a variety of professional-level accounting duties, including reconciliations, journal entries, grant tracking, and financial reporting. This position plays an important role in supporting the financial integrity of the organization and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and requirements. The Accountant may also be asked to assist with other financial projects and organizational initiatives as needed.
